High quality decorative paint can be natural. It is as resistant as chemical paint. Natural paint has been tried and tested successfully over the centuries; chemical paint keeps on changing, more for economical reasons than for technical reasons. While classical manufacturers make a lot of publicity around the reduction of their VOC rates, the very idea of VOC does not bother Via terra® for the sole reason that their formulation : linseed oil, casein… does not contain any VOC. The natural paint Via terra® responds to nearly all the needs of modern or ancient structures. There is absolutely no need to use glycerol to avoid stains of bistre, smoke etc… as some « professionals » think. A proper natural paint meets nearly all requirements.
