The Via terra® clay coating is an excellent smell absorber. The Via terra® coating is free from any V.O.C. No chemical products come in its making, which is not the case for other products on the market. There is very little waste, because if you did not use all the Via terra® coating, you just have to let it dry in its bucket and you can use it again years later. The Via terra® coating can also be put in your compost. You can get rid of it in the garden.

The Via terra® coating includes all the beneficial proprieties of clay : In fact, clay is a material with a large hygroscopic capacity (possibility of storage and restitution of the ambient humidity). It absorbs the excess humidity and condensation in a room and restores it slowly. This quality of hygrometric regulation presents two advantages : while absorbing humidity, the clay coating Via Terra® will keep moisture and bacteria from developing (they are responsible for asthma and other breathing illnesses) and while restoring it, it will regulate the drying of mucous membranes responsible for cold and angina. The Via terra® clay coating is a good air cleaner. The Via terra® clay coating has a very good thermal inertia. Thermal inertia is the capacity of a material to store up heat and then restore it with a time-lag.
